Products

We want to give our customers the best outdoor experience at Polar Bear Tents. Each tent is made by us using a 10.10-ounce sunforger marine grade mold, water, mildew, and fire-treated canvas. We make our frames with 1.5″ aluminum making for a lighter-weight frame. We make our fittings in-house and unlike other manufacturers our fittings fit into the tubing of the frame. This allows for movement while setting up the frame without the frame coming apart. All tents and frames are packaged in heavy-duty bags for easy transportation and storage.

Canvas Tents

DELUXE (DLX) MODEL: This model is equipped with a double zipper door with mosquito netting and a canvas piece that rolls up. 2 windows in the tent, 1 in each wall, a stove pipe in the wall and sewn in flaps with Velcro for each area. The tent also has brass grommets across the walls and roof to allow for an external frame set-up. 10″ sod cloth is sewn around the bottom of the tent with extremely strong and durable nylon webbing. Double stitching within all the seams and reinforcements on each corner and peak.

STANDARD (STD) MODEL: This model is equipped with a single zipper door and stove pipe in the wall with a Velcro canvas flap. The tent also has brass grommets across the walls and roof to allow for an external frame set-up. 10″ sod cloth is sewn around the bottom of the tent with extremely strong and durable nylon webbing. Double stitching within all the seams and reinforcements on each corner and peak.

Light Weight Tents

These tents are made from nylon material and weigh a fraction of the canvas tents. They are a great option to add to your fly in trips, horseback trips or just a weekend get away with the family. They compact very small and weigh 1/3 of the weight of canvas. This material is breathable, weather resistant and quick drying!

Frame

All of our frames are made with 1.5″ 6061 .065 aluminum which allows them to be lighter weight. Frames range from 25-90 pounds and have coloured tape to label the trusses and peaks while the legs come with no tape.

Fittings are cut, bent and welded in our facility as well as the frames.

A heavy duty storage bag is included.

Porch Canvas

Porches velcro onto the tent and around the poll of the porch frame. There’s a 6″ width between 2 strips of Velcro length-wise on the porch that will wrap around the end of the porch frame. The other end of the porch has 1 strip of length wise Velcro that will attach to the tent.

To make the 10′ porch the single side of velcro on 1 5′ porch will attach to the single side of velcro on the other 5′ piece to create that 10′ porch. We make it 2 pieces so the customer has the option to adjust sizing based off set up needs. This also allows for the option to always make the upgrade from a 5′ porch to a 10′ porch after time of purchase.

If you already have a 5′ porch and are making the upgrade to the 10′ porch you will need both 5′ porch canvas and porch frame. When in checkout please add in the notes “Add-on to existing 5′ porch” as there will be different fittings sent for this extension.

Porch canvas and porch frame both have the same price so for example 8×10 5′ porch is $160 for the canvas and $160 for the frame.
